These cupcakes are kid killer. Like if you are not very popular among kids, and you want to do something to impress them. Instead of trying to be a clown which is boring, or throw them your iPad which will be very effective but their parents will hate you because what comes along is the kids will ask their parents for their iPad, you should make these cupcakes.
Hummingbird Cake
I was more intrigued by the name of hummingbird cake than the cake itself when I decided to make it. This is such a lovely name. I tried to find out how the name came from, but eventually I gave up because it didn’t seem to matter anymore.
Guinness Cupcakes with Chocolate Ganache and Salted Caramel Popcorn
I wouldn’t normally care about St. Patrick’s Day. Come on, it’s not a statutory holiday, like we could sleep in or skip work. But for some reasons, you will never miss that day. Because of the green, I guess.
Pear Walnut Coffee Cake
First of all, if you haven’t known, coffee cake doesn’t necessarily have coffee flavour in it. It simply goes great with a cup of coffee, and that’s how the name came from. This moist coffee cake is perfect for breakfast but also makes a delicious snack or dessert.
Green Tea Cake Roll
Green tea cake roll or swiss roll is nothing new, but I tried my first piece when I was in Hong Kong. It was from a Japanese bakery – I guess green tea is always a thing related to Japan. It’s light, airy, but not too sweet. It carried the right amount of green tea flavour, intense but not overwhelming. I was really impressed that I decided to come back and try to make it on my own.
