I made these cupcakes for my daughter’s school Christmas party. Maybe the cuteness of the gingerbread cookies, or the smell of molasses, they were gone so quickly.

I know, coffee? In cupcakes for kids? I couldn’t help, I had to add a little. Because it made a huge difference. And the flavour was so much more intense and decadent. In fact, I was told that parents loved them too. Maybe that’s the reason.

I took up the task of making treats for my son’s school Halloween party. Besides the adorable Halloween cake pops, I also came up with these cupcakes. I am imagining tomorrow when the boxes open and the kids see all these colourful and fun cupcakes……the wows and the smiles and the giggles and the happiness. So excited!

The most beautiful lavender season is summer, I know. But I kind of feel that lavender should belong to fall. Maybe its fragrance, its colour, its name. Everything feels so…fall.

Adorable! Adorable! Adorable! It echoed through my head when I was assembling these cuties. Because they are really as cute as a bunch of new-born rabbits.
