What are you doing in 2016? I think I am still having a hard time swallowing the fact that 2015 has passed so quickly. A crazy year of ups and downs. Mostly ups actually! Yeah! Cooking, baking, reading, listening to tons of new music (Thanks to Apple Music), building stronger friendship, running a family, learning more about raising human beings than I ever thought I’d know… among other million things!
Baklava
My first time making baklava was years ago when my sister-in-law told me she’s a huge fan of this Middle East dessert. Considered how she’s never liked to eat dessert, I was quite surprised that she would like this because baklava is notoriously sweet. My first attempt totally proved that!
Chewy Ginger Cookies
This was my fifth time making these cookies this month. Yes! One. Two. Three. Four. Five. Really crazily delicious cookies there that totally get me addicted. And the strange thing is that I am not even a big fan of ginger cookies! How absurd does it sound?!
Dark Chocolate Macaron Espresso Ice Cream Sandwiches
Again, I AM NOT A BIG MACARON FAN! But I make a lot because people love them. And hence we have leftovers, and turns out we eat a lot of macarons too. Ironic! I know! But it’s a happy life when you get to have something sweet from time to time. I should try to complain less.
Espresso Salted Chocolate Chunk Cookies
What’s so special about these cookies is that they are not your regular chocolate chip cookies. They have espresso and sea salt. And that’s all it takes to make these cookies so exquisitely delicious and addictive.
